Espresso date with Sandy this morning. She's counting down the days until her 92nd birthday and a weekend away to the Adirondacks. She had a medical emergency that gave me a big worry a few months ago but she's bounced back beautifully; she's walking everyday and has even started drawing, carving and throwing pots again. These are working hands, a potters hands. These are the hands of my dear friend.
